Things to watch in large implementation

This is what I learnt with the recent large project implementation

1. The project/ agile team has to be adequately and correctly resources.

   1. Software is made by humans! So if the humans are right then the output is right.

   2. This means that the offboarding and onboarding is to be absolutely spot on i.e. fast and efficient. This is so that the non-performing members can be offboarded and new resources with different skills can be onboarded.

2. Program health metrics might have to be customized for different teams but still aligned with the overall project. In addition, they have to be appropriate for the stage of the project.

3. Communication. A big learning point for me! Communication both downwards and upwards has to be regular and as frequent as it must be to register with the team.
